In the NCAA March Madness tournament, 68 teams square off in a bracket-style format to compete for the championsip. There are 32 total games in the tournament, plus an extra 4 play-in games to start the tournament. Each member's goal is to try to score the perfect bracket! Members select who they think will win each tournament game all the way through the National Championships. In your pool, you can fully customize your scoring system for each round of the turnament and configure your pool to match your custom rules.
Unlike a March Madness Bracket pool where each member selects every game in the tournmanent, Pick 8 pools put a different spin on the most popular tournament. Before the tournament starts, each member selects exactly 8 teams for the entire tournament. Each time any of the selected teams wins, the team's tournament rank gets added to the member's point total. The member with the most points at the end of the tournament wins the pool.
Hate that feeling when your bracket is busted? Everyone does. Let's face it, it's hard to predict the outcome of any game in the tournament. Sweet 16 pools give everyone a second chance at being a champion! This pool type starts in the third round of the tournament, when only 16 teams remain, meaning that there are only 15 games left in the tournament before the round starts. Each member predicts the remaining 15 games in the bracket. Similar to the full-blown bracket pool, you can fully customize your scoring system for each round and configure your pool to match your custom rules.
